God Cries This Fourth of July

This is the leader our country voted for. Listen to him speak about God’s Word.
It’s raining today. Can they do fireworks in rain? I think God is crying this Fourth of July. Abortion activists opposing the 20-week abortion ban bill in Texas are chanting “Hail Satan” while pro-life advocates sing Amazing Grace. Story here. DOMA’s dead. I looked at the front page of The Tennessean, the newspaper of the Bible belt. The first paragraph said, “…America just might be the best place on the planet. It’s a big place, diverse and often full of disagreement, and with some of us faring better than others.”
What?! What is that supposed to mean? Is that a class warfare statement? Shame on you Tony Gonzalez, writer of this article. How dare you turn the 4th of July into a Socialist/Communist propaganda opportunity. You don’t fool me. Let’s think about your statement. Let’s take Cuba. Are some people there “faring better than others?” I think so. Castro and his family are doing better than the rest. Let’s take Korea. Isn’t that chubby leader guy living better than the Koreans? China? Some rich, some poor. Russia? Africa? Europe? Some very rich, some very poor.
Isn’t America special because it’s the only country where you can change the “status” you were born into? Poor can become rich. It happens every day in America. Capitalism allows you to work hard and enjoy the fruit of your labor. Socialist/communist countries, dictatorships, the feudal system, the caste system; they all force the masses into poverty and the elite retain the wealth. Didn’t you learn that in college Tony, or were you brain-washed into thinking that people who are successful are evil? I bet you voted for Obama because you think he cares about poor people. He’s “faring better than others.” Is he evil?
Tony’s article pretended to be neutral journalism but plugged the Immigration Reform Bill that just passed the Senate and is going to be defeated in the House, because it does not solve the immigration problem, it just limits job opportunities for American citizens, rewards illegal behavior and does not protect our borders. Please attend the July 15 DC MARCH FOR JOBS (Anti-Immigration Bill) Rally being thrown by the Black American Leadership Alliance. Allen West, Ted Cruz, Kevin Jackson, Elbert Guillory, Rev. Dozier and many other great speakers will be there.
I almost started crying when I saw a full page spread in The Tennessean with photos of our founding fathers, and quotes taken out of context that inferred they were God-haters. The title of the page was Celebrate our GODLESS Constitution. But then, I noticed who paid for the ad, FFRF.org, Freedom From Religion Foundation. Oh.
And then, I sighed with gratitude when I flipped the page and saw another full page spread titled, IN GOD WE TRUST. It listed quotes from our founding fathers that showed their devotion to God and the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. It ended with II Chronicles 7:14 and Psalm 33:12a. What a great example of the spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:12) America is in right now. It’s 50-50. What will tip the scales to the left or right? You.
